Atlanta, Georgia -- The Atlanta Association of Health Underwriters, a chapter of the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters and National Association of Health Underwriters, is an organization of health insurance agents, brokers and other professionals.  AAHU installed its 2009-2010 Executive Board at its June 12, 2009 monthly membership meeting held at the Cobb Galleria.

Jodie E. Braner of Pritchard & Jerden, Inc. in Buckhead was installed as president.  Jodie was promoted to president of the association after serving several years in leadership positions on the Board of AAHU.  Al Hombroek, CEO of Multiple Benefits Corporation of Lawrenceville was installed as president-elect to serve as president for the 2010-2011 term.

It is our focus is to keep health insurance private without employer mandates while supporting programs to adopt containing cost and improving quality through electronic health records, cost transparency, pay for performance guidelines and wellness initiatives.   Consumers now more than ever need our expertise in choosing the right programs.”

The new officers are as follows:
